Garrett Grolemund teaches statistical computing and graphics at the Department of Statistics of Rice University. He has co-authored, with Hadley Wickham, the lubridate R package which provides methods to parse, manipulate, and do arithmetic with date-times. He researches methods of teaching data analysis and statistical computing to non-programmers.
