Hi, hope you can help me out with this. new to statistics and trying to read up. have receive a set of questions- no clue as yet.
Choose the most appropriate statistical test to perform in the following situations. Each option may be used once, more than once or none at all.
Questions:
1) The weight measurements of four independant group (n=80/group) of subjects.
2) Linear analogue scale responses of a group of subjects(N=15) asked to report their perceived pain on 2 consecutive days.
3) The variation in body mass index (kg/m2) over a period of 3 months in 720 subjects on a calorie controlled weight reducng diet.
Choose from:
A) Friedman test
b) Kruskal Wallis test
c)Mann-Whitney U test
d)One-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)
e)Paired t test
f) Two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA)
G) unpaired T test
H) Wilcoxon signed rank test
Thanks for your input.
