The primary author of the statistics.com glossary is Dr. Vladimir Koliadin. Dr. Koliadin is a Senior Researcher in the National Aerospace University, Kharkov, Ukraine and has been a regular contributor to the statistical content sections of statistics.com.
Dr. Koliadin is the author of more than 30 research papers; his initial research area covered statistical methods for signal and image processing (Ph.D., 1988). Current interests include non-classical statistical methods, resampling techniques, detection of latent patterns in multidimensional data and data visualization. Dr. Koliadin has experience in numerical methods and in programming (C/C++, Perl, S/S-plus (R), SH/BASH) and can be contacted at vlk@resample.com.
