ActivStats is a multimedia statistics training course on CD-ROM. ActivStats combines video, audio text, animation, interactive tools and text into an effective learning evironment. The program can be used as an integral part of a course or as a refresh or reference tool.

ActivStats is available in three different flavors:

• Standard ActivStats, which teaches the user how to apply newly learned methods using the student version of Data Desk.
• ActivStats for Excel, which teaches the user how to to apply newly learned methods using both the student version of Data Desk and Excel.
  This program includes a copy of Data Desk/XL, an Excel add-in for computing statistics.
• ActivStats for SPSS, which teaches the user how to apply newly learned methods using SPSS.
