Gendex DOE toolkit
What is Gendex? (www.designcomputing.net)
In the pre-computer age, the toolkit of designers of experiments included finite fields, group characters, etc. and various catalogues of experimental designs. Gendex is a toolkit for generating designs of experiments in the computer age. It has 10 modules, each of which is a by-product of one or two publications of its author in refereed journals.

Who should use Gendex?
Anyone belonging to one of the following group: (i) designers of experiments with a new philosophy of designing experiments, i.e. Design for the experiment, do not experiment for the design; (ii) designers of experiments in industrial settings where it is difficult to adjust the experimental materials to published plans; and (iii) designers of experiments in agricultural research stations in remote areas where it is easier to get access to a PC than to various catalogued and professional journals to find a usable plan.

What type of designs does Gendex generate?
The current version of Gendex can generate: alpha-designs, 2-level and mixed level fractional factorial designs, D-optimal designs, blocked designs of all types, Box-Behnken type designs, cyclic designs, incomplete block designs, orthogonal and near-orthogonal arrays, resolvable designs, response surface designs, row-column designs, saturated and supersaturated designs, trend-free designs.
