Continuing Education Credits

 The Institute for Statistics Education at Statistics.com will issue our Record of Completion to students successfully completing each course. This document will note the number of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) earned, according to the length of the course — a 4-week course at 5 CEU’s and a 3-week course at 3.75 CEU’s. 

CEU’s are defined by the IACET (International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training) At The Institute, CEU’s are awarded on the basis of 1 CEU per 12 hours of student class work time.

The Institute for Statistics Education is is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), the  Commonwealth of Virginia’s coordinating body for higher education. The SCHEV mission is “to advocate and promote the development and operation of an educationally and economically sound, vigorous, progressive, and coordinated system of higher education in the Commonwealth of Virginia…[and]…advance educational excellence.”
