Prof. Din Chen
Ding-Geng (Din) Chen, Ph.D., is the Wallace H. Kuralt Distinguished Professor at the School of Social Work, UNC at Chapel Hillis (previously a professor at the University of Rochester School of Nursing), and Vice President of the JDJK Consulting Group with vast experience in biostatistical research and clinical trial development and methodology. He has an additional appointment as professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology at the School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Rochester.
He has authored and co-authored more than 80 journal publications in biostatistical methodologies and applications in biomedical trials and gene microarray. He is a member of the American Statistical Association and Chair-elect for STAT section of the American Public Health Association. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation and serves on the editorial board for several other journals.
Prior to Rochester, Chen served as the Karl E. Peace endowed eminent scholar chair in biostatistics and professor of biostatistics at the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University. He also held previous faculty appointments at South Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota Stanford School of Medicine.
