The entire Master’s program curriculum is devoted to data science and analytics and is provided by the Institute. In the Bachelor’s program, the core data science and analytics courses come from the Institute, and additional general education requirements are met by taking TESU courses or by other means. Vetting and approval of the Institute’s curriculum by the American Council on Education (ACE) for credit transfer purposes was instrumental in securing the needed institutional and state regulatory approvals for these programs. The Master’s program curriculum was approved by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
The joint Bachelor’s program began in 2016. As of June, 2019, 9 students had completed the full data science and analytics curriculum, and 40 additional students were enrolled and progressing through the curriculum.
The Master’s program accepted its first student in May, 2019.
