Then I collaborate with the client to navigate the data and technical platforms and begin experimentation and solution design. The priorities are that the solution must be fit-for-purpose, performant to requirements, robust to unprecedented shocks, and responsible to organizational and societal values. Now as principal scientist at Elder Research, my role has migrated mostly to mentoring, teaching, and advising peers, clients, and students as they learn to do the same in their practice. I have the best job!

When not dealing with data and clients I enjoy good food, good company and “friendly” competition in sports and games. You can also find me on the soccer sidelines with my wife cheering the loudest for my two daughters.
