Beyond professional pursuits, I find joy in hobbies like reading, knitting, gardening, and embarking on spontaneous adventures with my family.
Tara Batemon
I’m passionate about creating dynamic, impactful learning experiences that bring real value to people’s lives. Throughout my career, I’ve successfully managed projects that require multimedia content and development – including website development, video production, and interactive online learning content.
I’ve collaborated with corporations, universities, and nonprofits to design and deliver programs that drive meaningful results for their teams, customers, and students.
When not working, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, or reading.
Amy Caruso
I have enjoyed working as a data scientist and AI consultant for 35 years. I start by listening carefully to stakeholders’ processes, objectives, and challenges. Then I collaborate with the client to navigate the data and technical platforms and begin experimentation and solution design. The priorities are that the solution must be fit-for-purpose, performant to requirements, robust to unprecedented shocks, and responsible to organizational and societal values. Now as principal scientist at Elder Research, my role has migrated mostly to mentoring, teaching, and advising peers, clients, and students as they learn to do the same in their practice. I have the best job!

As a learning engagement manager, I am focused on developing and delivering world-class customized data science and data engineering learning programs in the B2B space. I get tremendous satisfaction from empowering people seeking to learn about AI and bring business value to their organizations. My engineering, consulting, and entrepreneurial backgrounds put me in a great position to direct these learning engagements and nurture client relationships.
When not dealing with data and clients I enjoy good food, good company and “friendly” competition in sports and games. You can also find me on the soccer sidelines with my wife cheering the loudest for my two daughters.
Ramzi Ziade
With many years of experience in web and software development, cloud infrastructure design, and system support, I thrive at the intersection of software engineering and business problem-solving. As a published tech author for companies like Adobe and Zend, I enjoy breaking down complex technical concepts and sharing knowledge with the community.
Passionate about all things tech, I’m always exploring new ways to leverage coding to achieve business goals efficiently. When I’m not building software, you’ll find me drawing, playing guitar, cooking, tackling DIY projects, hiking, kayaking, or attempting to grow plants.
