Statistics.com has a flexible policy that recognizes circumstances may arise to prevent you from taking a course as planned. Please review the following information regarding transfer and withdrawal policies and student responsibilities:
Transferring to Another Course:
You may transfer your tuition to another course at any time prior to the course start date or the drop date. The drop date for transfer from a course is 5pm US Eastern Time on the Friday after the course start date (i.e. one week into the course). The transfer fee is $25 if you transfer prior to the start of the course, $99 once course begins up until the drop date.
Transfer is not permitted after the drop date, only a withdrawal (see below).
Please use this transfer form and pay the appropriate transfer fees – $25 prior to start date, or $99 prior to drop date
Withdrawal From a Course:
Students are entitled to a full refund if a course they are registered for is canceled.
Five-Day Cancellation: An applicant who provides written notice of cancellation within five days from date of registration, and prior to course start date is entitled to a refund of all monies paid.
Other Cancellations: An applicant requesting cancellation more than five (5) days after registration and tuition payment, and prior to the course start date, is entitled to a refund of all monies paid, less the non-refundable registration fee of $99.
Withdrawals on or after the first day of class are entitled to a refund of tuition (which does not include the non-refundable $99 registration fee) as follows:
Amount of Course Completed: Refundable Tuition Due Student
- 0-25% completed: 75% refund
- 25-50% completed: 50% refund
- 50-75% completed: 25% refund
- >= 75% of course: no refund
A student choosing to withdraw from a course may do so by completing and submitting an “Application for WITHDRAWAL from a Statistics.com course.” Please use this form to withdraw from a course. Save the editable .pdf to your computer, and attach it to an email sent to email@example.com
The nonrefundable fee and consumed portion of the tuition will be deducted from the original tuition payment. A refund of the remaining tuition will be credited back to the card on file.
