Oct 23 – Nov 20:  Spatial Statistics for GIS Using R

Spatial data are everywhere. Spatial Statistics for GIS Using R gets behind the map to ask about the data that are mapped and pose questions about the patterns we see. In this course, you will learn about the relationship between maps and the data they represent and how such data are coded in the R environment.  When you take this course, you have the unique opportunity to learn and ask questions from a true expert in the field. This course is taught by Prof David Unwin, a recipient of the distinguished service award by the Association of American Geographers.  It uses the text, Geographic Information Analysis 2nd Edition which he co-authored.
